I have always been fascinated by technology. I was born in Asia and grew up in the recursive loop of innovation that was 2010s Vancouver. It was exciting, from learning to code in ninth grade to witnessing startup accelerators and neolabs sprout wings.

I didn't come from an engineering family, but I love what I do. I'm awed at the fact that I can ask myself "what's next?" and find something new to build every day. I enjoy telling people that my first "computer" was an abacus. Little did I know that I would be creating their digital counterparts seven years later.
